LILLY CONTROLLERS

 

1. Overview

Winder Controls has a specialist division handling Lilly Controller repairs, rebuilds, spares and service under the personal supervision of Ernesto Faroldi.

2. Facilities

Winder Controls has supplied Lilly Controllers to the Mines for many years and provides in-house facilities for the following:

· Supply of reconditioned and new Controllers.
· Repairs to all models.
· Rebuilding and conversions.
· Service exchange units.
· Spares.
· Service.
· Training.

Our work shop facilities includes for final testing of the Controllers prior to shipping, setting of trip speeds, profiling of cams, etc. to suit the duty cycle of your Winder.

Spares available include imported governor springs that have been carefully specified to provide for long life. These springs have been type tested on our in-house fatigue-testing machine to many millions of operations simulating the conditions in service.

Our service extends into the field as well, and we shall be pleased to advise you on any problems associated with Lilly Controllers and their drives, reports on the Controllers condition, settings, etc., all at a reasonable cost. Training courses can be arranged for Mine personnel either on site or at our works.

Accessories for the Lilly Controllers include functional dust proof enclosures, pedestals, and directional switches that can be mounted on the pedestal if required.

Drives can be individually engineered and installed to suit your application to provide a reliable, robust, noise free drive to your Lilly Controller.

PLC based broken shaft drive monitoring equipment using an encoder on the governor drive and another auxiliary drive on the winder can be included.
