Our Company

Winder Controls was established 30 years ago by the current chairman, Bill de Beer, as a wholly owned and managed South African company, specializing in the design, manufacture, installation, upgrading and maintenance of hoisting systems for the local and overseas mining industries. The company is able to approach new projects with a turnkey capability, which ranges from basic and detailed design, through manufacture, inspection and testing of even the largest components to the final erection and commissioning on site. The company has exported hoisting equipment and related plant to Africa, Australia, Europe, India and South America. Since its inception, the company has supplied more than 500 installations comprising hoisting systems and their auxiliaries, as well as upgrades and refurbishment to existing plant.
